SSFM is dedicated to improving the quality of life and restoring the dignity of those we serve.
Our Food Ministry is to ensure that no one goes hungry, that no food is wasted,
and no one is denied the opportunity or assistance to become self-sufficient.

SOUL Church Dallas Food Ministy and Food Pantry

With just three full-time staff and volunteers, SSFM highlights how grassroots engagement and community generosity can scale a food pantry-like movement without a large institutional footprint.
  • Each week SSFM receives a mixture of over twenty-thousand pounds of frozen, refrigerated, fresh produce and non-perishable items.
  • We distribute to over forty organizations, and over fifteen-thousand lives are affected each month with free food.
  • Our reach is over thirteen counties throughout the DFW area.
Organizations and ministries we support:
  • Transitional Housing Programs
  • Recovery Program Houses: Overcoming addictions, women & children pulled from sex trafficking, and safe houses
  • Community Food Pantries
  • Church Food Pantries
Special food deliveries - Widow's Run:
  • People with transportation difficulties
  • Veterans
  • Elderly
  • Shut-ins
  • Disabled
  • Homeless
  • People who have transitioned off the streets into stable housing who need a hand up
